The pure Vitamin E inside both products is identical: ultra-pure, amber, thick. The SF Topical is that same E blended with olive-derived squalane, because pure E on its own is too viscous to spread across skin evenly. The squalane is a carrier, not a dilutant. The E content in the serum is still among the highest on the market for a topical.

Most Vitamin E supplements are synthetic dl-alpha tocopherol: one fraction, made in a lab, wrong stereochemistry. Real, unrefined E has four tocopherol fractions (alpha, beta, gamma, delta).
